What do you like about an environment? Goings on around you, or all the privacy and tranquility. Close to a supermarket, shops and a pharmacy, or don't you mind driving a bit for this? In a community or remote? Hereby it is advisable to also visit the place out of season. In this way you can experience whether there is still something to do outside of the season or whether everything is closed, what the climate is like outside of the high season, whether there are still enough taxis and buses, etc.

If the environment is determined then it is good to list the motives for buying a house. Is it for investment / rental, climate, tax reasons, holiday home, etc.
